- Check the sides of the garage door to make sure the photo eyes (black sensors) have been mounted no higher than 6 inches off the floor.
- Block the photo eye with an object that’s over 6 inches tall and then press your garage door remote to close the garage door. The garage door shouldn’t close.
- Get an object that’s at least 1.5 inches high in the garage door’s path and then press the close button. The door should reverse off this object without touching it.
